Purchasers or owners of estates or post-industrial buildings that have been added to the regional register of historic properties by the conservator of the relevant voivodeship (or state) may be eligible to enjoy a number of tax benefits, including full or partial relief from annual Polish property taxes and forestry and agricultural taxes that would otherwise apply to the building and its land, in the absence of its official designation as a historical property. A qualified accountant or attorney can provide you with more information about the possibility of obtaining such tax benefits and the steps involved with securing them.
